A countryside retreat to slow down, reconnect and come back to yourself.
Step away from the pace of everyday life and give yourself space to breathe, move, rest and simply be.
Unfurling is a restorative countryside retreat designed to help you reconnect with your body, quieten your mind and leave feeling both deeply rested and renewed.
Across the weekend, we’ll explore the beautiful balance between strength and softness — beginning the day with energising movement and ending it with slower practices designed to soothe the nervous system and invite deep relaxation.
Alongside yoga, meditation and movement, you’ll have space to explore creativity, touch and self-care through an intuitive painting workshop and a nourishing self-massage practice.
Move. Rest. Create. Reconnect.
Each day offers a gentle rhythm between energising and unwinding.
Mornings begin with a dynamic yoga and strength-focused practice, combining yoga with functional movement to awaken the body, build strength and leave you feeling grounded and energised.
As the day slows, we’ll turn inward with meditation, slower yoga and restorative practices — creating space to release tension, settle the mind and deeply rest.
You’ll also be invited to explore your creative side through a relaxed painting workshop, and reconnect with your body through a guided self-massage session.
And in between it all, there is time to wander, breathe fresh country air, enjoy nourishing food, curl up with a book or simply do nothing.
A weekend to unfurl
Like a flower slowly opening, unfurling isabout creating the conditions for you to soften, open and reconnect naturally, not about forcing change.
You don’t need to be an experienced yogi, particularly flexible or “good” at meditation. This retreat is about meeting yourself exactly where you are — whether you’re craving rest, wanting to reconnect with your body, or simply need some time away from the demands of everyday life.

Not at all. Unfurling is suitable for all levels, including beginners. The practices will be adapted to different bodies and abilities, with options offered throughout. You’ll be encouraged to work at your own pace.
-
The retreat is intentionally designed around balance. Mornings are more dynamic and energising, combining yoga and strength-based movement to awaken the body and build strength. Evenings are slower and more restorative, with gentle yoga, meditation and practices to help you unwind.
-
Both — but relaxation is at the heart of Unfurling. The stronger morning sessions are there to help you feel energised, capable and connected to your body, while the rest of the retreat gives you plenty of opportunities to slow down, rest and restore.
-
Not at all. While there is a programme of yoga, meditation and creative workshops, there is no pressure to participate in every activity. You’re welcome to take time for yourself, rest, read, walk or simply enjoy the surroundings.
-
Absolutely. You don’t need to come with a friend. Unfurling is designed to be a welcoming and inclusive space, and there will be opportunities to connect with others as well as plenty of time for your own space. You can book a private room or a shared room and you will be matched with a roommate.
-
Think slow mornings, nourishing movement, countryside air, creative afternoons, cosy evenings and plenty of time to breathe.
Enjoy delicious, wholesome meals prepared by a plant-based chef, with fresh, seasonal food woven into the experience of slowing down and being nourished.
The retreat is intentionally unhurried, giving you space to step away from your usual routine and reconnect with yourself — whether that means moving your body, getting creative, exploring the countryside, sharing good food or simply finding a quiet moment to yourself.
